Sydney - Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) housing finance data for December

EQUITIES:
Sydney - Leighton Holdings Ltd says it expects full year net profit to fall to $480 million
in 2010/11, after reporting a 25 per cent drop in first half profit.

Sydney - Insurance Australia Group Ltd forecasts that first half insurance profit will
decline 3.7 per cent as the company faces a greater than expected loss in the UK.

Melbourne - Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Ltd has lifted first half profit by 67.1 per cent
and says solid margins and credit quality will protect it against volatile trading in
the second half.

Sydney - Specialty Fashion Group Ltd says first half profit fell 37 per cent due to a
very difficult trading environment and heavy discounting, and says apparel retailers face
"a new headwind" in rising input costs from China.

Sydney - Direct marketer Salmat Ltd has posted lower half year profit, but says it can
meet full year earnings guidance provided trading conditions remain stable.
